JOY Prison Ministries Advancing

JOY is currently involved with five prisons. They distribute Bibles and have donated 65 mattresses for prisoners sleeping on the floor. Approved local pastors are admitted to lead devotions and use correspondence courses.

 

Worker for the Harvest

Don and Sarah Reed, founders of Open Door Enterprises have drilled wells throughout the Kigoma region. They also put the roof on the JOY Community Center building. 

Back of the Yellow

Violence in DR Congo is causing an influx of refugees to Tanzania. JOY is helping pastors in the camps.

Due to inflation and divisions in the UMC our General Fund is in the red. We would be grateful if our individual supporters could help out during this difficult time.

After many years being in the courts, our land issue has finally been resolved.

-Claudia to have knee and shoulder replacement surgery

-complete construction of the apprenticeship training center

-keep all other projects strong and progressing
